THE RST-24 TROLLEY
RST-V24 Trolley: The Next Generation of Zipline Braking
Since 2002, friction-braking trolleys have reframed zipline safety by prioritizing controlled stopping over raw speed.
We’re replacing the 2-wheeled pulleys every day; these pulleys are designed for speed, but owners and guides fail to recognize zipliner momentum, which produces an accelerated arrival for the high-load participant.
Speed Pulleys are inconsistent, vary in stopping locations, and rider outcomes (80-lbs vs. 250-lbs).
This creates more impact events for high-load participants crashing into platforms.
A DIFFERENT DESIGN
In 2002, we introduced a different design:
a fail-safe, self-braking trolley for Park City Mountain Resort in Park City, UT that decelerates riders predictably across a wide mass range (≈35–300 lbs).
